This is my LAST post here! Gotta NEW Blog!!!!

Yay! FINALLY, I am ready to say that my new blog is ready to view! Yippee!!! Wahoo! I can't tell you how long I have been wanting to do away with the old. I am so EXCITED! The features are just amazing and I am still trying to grasp it all. It is like a whole new world. I love that you cannot click on a link to view the next blog...I have my own domain! All mine!! I had issues from time to time with my postings/images. They would get a goofy for no apparent reason. Then, the image size! Oh the size! You aren't going to need a magnifying lense for viewing the new stuff! How awesome is that?!
So, everyone I hope that you make note of this change and come check out the new blog. I can't wait to hear from y'all. If you are curious if I will have two blogs again, the answer is no. This is another reason I am thrilled about this change. I am not going to maintain two blogs anymore. My recent invites/stationary AND photography work will be posted together on the new bloggie blog. Oh fun! Hehe.
Check it out!!!!!
PS - This blog will still be active so you can link back to it from the new site to see old work. You can also see more work on my website

Look what I came across...

I was doing some research on Dr. Seuss showers and found a picture of my Raiders recipe card. At first I was "that looks like mine. wait that is mine!" Haha! So, naturally I followed the link. Tara who has Sassy Inspirations blog wrote some of the sweetest things about Whitney Owen Designs. Awesomeness!!!! Go check Tara out at Thanks, Tara, for getting my name out there!

Check this out!

This isn't your typical green or black chalkboard all! This is so much cooler! Just imagine the possibilities with the Hudson Paint Color Chalkboard Paint. I really hope I have a project soon that requires me to purchase some of this. If not, I am going to have to create a need to buy myself some. How would I ever choose the color though??? I have attached the colors for you to view. Aren't they just eye-popping fun?!?! Check out Hudson Paint for yourself at

Loved this place!

Cahoots Handbags and Kelly Lane Jewelry together in Gainesville, Texas.... Check 'em out!
Kelly Lane Jewelry
She was SUPER sweet!!!! She was making jewelry when Eric and I went into the shop (which is awesome and so vintage). Her jewelry is amazing and nothing like you see out there. Every piece is a work of art and has a story to tell.

Just wanted to share....

Take a close look at the bottom gift basket. There are my Holly recipe cards. Eric and I put together 300 packages of the Holly recipe cards with a little, red ribbon for that particular gift basket that United Supermarkets sold in their Lubbock locations this holiday season. I thought it was pretty cool so I wanted to share this image with you all. We are officially in 2010!!!! Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas!!!! and Time Off!!!

From my home to yours, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! If you are traveling, I pray that you and your family have a safe, happy journey to and from. I won't be going too far myself. I will be heading home tomorrow to my hometown, Snyder, which is about an hour and fifteen minutes from here. Then, Christmas day I will be "Off to Grandmother's House we go..." (traveling by car of course not sleigh) in Post 30 minutes down the road for the fun, rowdy Owen gathering. We spend most of the day there talking, eating, laughing and making lots of memories. This will be the second Christmas without my PawPaw since his passing and it is still hard for me to know I won't get to hear his stories or try to catch a snap shot of him. But, again...the memories were created and that's what I hold near and dear to my heart.
I will be back in Snyder for a few days for my Farquhar family Christmas, a wedding consult and some relaxing as well. In addition to all of this hustle and bustle that is going on, I am taking some much needed time off before I hit hard into the 2010 Wedding and Graduation Seasons.

NEW Christmas Gift Tags

Gift tags were my Mom's idea! I wanted to do more, but again time is of the essence. These are some of my favorite Santa images. Fun, fun, FuN! I hope you enjoy them, too! They are **HAND** embellished with glitter and they also have an eyelet punched in. Red sheer ribbon is attached for you to tie right on to your packages. You can purchase them through my website at and they will be available at Down Town Depot early next week! Limited quantities will be available at that location!

NEW Vintage Christmas Cards

The vintage images are some of my favorite things. I just love them! I have all the holidays plus New Year images....coming later! Each set has 12 assorted images with envelopes. I **HAND** glitter all of them. There is no machine that does the work. It is all me and whoever is available to help out. Sometimes it is Eric (my boyfriend), my Mom, my brother Cade and if I am lucky my Dad. All in the family! I have to say though my brother Cade is probably the quickest out of all of them. My Dad falls right behind him. Cade and I worked on the Easter cards and I couldn't believe how we cranked them out. We were quite the team! I do love to watch my Mom glitter. She winds up with it ALL over her. Haha! Alot of love goes into these cards, so if you are one of the lucky ones to purchase these I hope you love them as much as I do.
The 10 Market Streets across Texas only carry the Vintage Christmas Set #1. The Down Town Depot carries the Vintage Christmas Set #1 and Set #2. However, all sets can be purchased through my website at

NEW Christmas Notepad

I love this notepad. It is hands down my favorite now. It is bright, whimsical and just down right fun! It measures 3-1/2"x8-1/2" and I was told that it would have 25 sheets to it...yeah right! Try more like 50+. I had all my backings printed for my packaging that said 25 sheets but it has more so it is a great thing. Lots more shopping to do! Ha! It can be purchased through my website at, all 10 Market Street locations across Texas and Down Town Depot in Snyder, Texas. prices may vary
